Golden Monkey
The golden snub-nosed monkey, scientifically known as Rhinopithecus roxellana, is an old world monkey. It is native to central and Southwest China, commonly found in a small area of temperate, mountainous forests. Snow often falls in their climate and these monkeys can generally withstand colder temperatures. The golden snub-nose monkey's IUCN status is currently endagered, due to hunting and habitat loss. Golden monkeys are highly selective feeders, therefore habitat damage critically impacts the species. These monkeys are held in many reserves, and prohibited from international trade in order to conserve population numbers.

It is crazy how we have to keep them in reserves to preserve their population numbers.
